They will realize how brilliant we truly are and they will give us the credit, recognition and rewards that we deserve. They may even provide us with all of the tools that we need to be more productive. Imagine that! I have a question for you: what if they don¡¦t get it? What if they NEVER get it? Then, what are you going to do?
Well, there are two kinds of conversations that we may have here. One deals with the validation for how you feel. This is where we sympathize, empathize and understand your frustrations by examining all of the evidence that you have gathered to support your claim. Let's simply conclude that all feelings are valid. There, you're vindicated. This may make you feel better for a few moments, but it is probably not going to result in anything productive for you or the organization.

Daylight Savings Time showed up during the First World War to extend the amount of daylight hours as a way to preserve energy. Did you wake up feeling groggy yesterday? Chances are most of us did, and not just because it was Monday. Yesterday we lost an hour thanks to Daylight Savings Time (DST). The Ministry of Health and Welfare's (MOHW) decision to increase medical insurance contributions of workers being paid high salaries is sure to invite criticism and disaffection from those affected. It is a cunning idea,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], because from next year the medical insurance systems (salaried and provincial) will be merged,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and it will be necessary for the salaried system to bail out the bankrupt provincial one,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so contributions may have to be increased several hundred percent.
The ministry argues that the past system of contributions was based only on 60% of people's salaries (basic pay) and didn't include the 40% in allowances that made up the total salary. Continuing that this was to complicated,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], MOHW is to cunningly reduce the contribution to 2.8% from the current 3.8%, but will levy this on the total salary. It also said that 56.6% of all workers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], those at small and medium sized businesses,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which make up 99% of all businesses,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], will see a reduction in their contribution,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], while the remaining 43.4% will have to pay 50% more. MOHW says that this is merely social justice making those who earn more pay more, and is nothing to do with merging the medical systems.
If this is the case,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then why the change as the salaried workers system is healthy and functional,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the MOHW has just wasted its budget and personnel. Everybody knows that the change is to fill the deficit when the merge occurs and the ministry's duplicity is obvious to all.
Another disputable point is whether or not the division of high and low incomes can be said to be W1.54 million as the ministry claim. There is another problem in that the ministry has chosen to dump the deficit and burden of the provincial medical insurance system on these "high salaried" workers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who are paying up to 44% in progressive taxes. In addition the deficit in the merged national pension system will be paid by these same "high salaried" workers whose income is completely disclosed. It is a big mistake for the government to think that these workers will accept its action of transferring deficits from provincial systems where people disclose only 28% of their income. There is no guarantee that salaried workers will not vote against a certain party in the up coming elections among other acts of non-compliance.
